Remodel & Storm Debris Removal Oklahoma City

Construction & Storm Debris in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City’s bulky pickup won’t touch contractor waste — no sheetrock, concrete, roofing or demolition debris — and Moore’s Big Trash turns away shingles and construction materials too. Between remodels and a spring storm season, that’s a lot of material with nowhere to go. We haul it by the load: construction debris runs $120 a cubic yard, and a quarter truck is $241.

Mixed Loads Are Fine

The City charges extra bulky fees when storm debris is piled together with furniture or appliances. We take limbs, fencing, soaked carpet and a ruined couch on the same truck.

A Metro Built Around Storm Season

Moore holds the three costliest tornadoes in Oklahoma’s history. Piedmont lost around 180 homes to the May 24, 2011 EF5, and eleven days after Moore’s May 20, 2013 storm, the El Reno tornado set the record for width at 2.6 miles.

Most years are hail and wind rather than an EF5, but severe season still runs March through June, and winter ice storms bring down limbs and fences. After the adjuster’s visit, what’s left is drywall, insulation, carpet and contents that have to leave the house before the rebuild.

Debris Removal FAQs

Will Oklahoma City pick up my remodel debris?

No. The City’s bulky service excludes contractor waste such as uncontained sheetrock, concrete, gypsum, roofing and remodeling or demolition debris.

Do you haul shingles after a hail claim?

Yes. Roofing shingles are $48 per bundle, or priced by truck space for a full tear-off pile.

Can you take concrete and brick?

Yes. Because it’s so heavy, masonry is sold by the quarter truck: $219.

Do you take tree limbs after a storm?

Yes. Yard waste and limbs are $88 a cubic yard, and they can share a load with fencing and damaged contents.

Do you work with my insurance adjuster?

We can photograph the load before it leaves if you need it for your records, but we don’t negotiate with insurers or file claims.

Rebuilding After the Storm?

Photograph the pile and get a flat number for the whole load.
