Junk Removal Oklahoma City

Junk Removal in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City covers 621 square miles across four counties, and the City’s own trucks already collect bulky trash from single-family homes once a month. What they don’t do is come inside, serve apartments, take remodel debris, or show up this week. That’s the work we do. Photograph the pile and get one flat number: a sofa is $126, a refrigerator $164.

We cover Oklahoma County and Cleveland County in full, plus the towns within about 30 miles of downtown — Yukon and Mustang to the west, Newcastle and Tuttle to the south, Guthrie to the north, Choctaw and Harrah to the east.

Oklahoma City Junk Removal Prices

Each item carries one published price for the OKC metro. Loading, the walk out of the house and the drive to the landfill or recycler are already counted in it.

These are the pieces people photograph most often here; the quote page holds the complete catalog.

OKC Price List

Minimum order: $100. You see the total before any truck is scheduled, and no hidden fees are added later.

Included Every Time

  • Two-person crew and all the lifting
  • Carry-out from any room, garage or shed
  • Apartment stairs and elevators
  • Refrigerant recovery for fridges and AC units
  • Landfill and transfer-station charges
  • Donation and recycling drop-offs

Big Loads Are Priced by Truck Space

A garage, a barn or a house after a storm is simpler to price by volume. The truck holds sixteen cubic yards: $241 buys a quarter of it, $431 half, and $732 the whole box. Your quote works out the item-by-item total and the volume total side by side and uses the smaller one.

Step back far enough to get the whole pile in one frame — a single wide shot usually prices it.

How an OKC Pickup Works

1

1. Snap the junk

One recliner or a two-car garage — every piece in the picture is matched to the Oklahoma City catalog.

2

2. Choose your day

Correct anything the photo got wrong, then book a slot this week instead of waiting for your bulky-waste window.

3

3. Gone and sorted

An insured local crew carries everything out and splits it between donation, recyclers and a licensed landfill.

JunkRabbit Services in the 405

Every service below has its own page with OKC prices, the local pickup rules that matter, and answers to the usual questions:

Storm Debris Is an Oklahoma City Season

Roughly 150 tornadoes have hit inside the city limits since 1890, and severe-weather season runs from March into June with a second bump in October. Hail, straight-line winds and winter ice storms leave their own messes.

The City’s Storm Program

After an assessment, Oklahoma City collects storm debris such as limbs and broken fencing on your bulky day. Limbs have to be cut to ten feet or less.

Keep the Piles Apart

If storm debris is mixed with furniture or appliances, the City charges excess bulky fees on the whole pile. A mixed load is exactly what we haul in one trip.

Inside the House

Rain-soaked carpet, ruined furniture and a garage full of wet boxes don’t fit any curb program. We carry them out.

Where It Hits Hardest

Moore, Piedmont and El Reno have all been through EF5 tornadoes, and each has its own page here.

OKC Bulky Waste vs. Booking a Hauler

Oklahoma City’s bulky-waste service is one of the more generous city programs around, and for plenty of single-family homes it’s all they need. Here’s exactly where it stops.

Four Yards a Month

Single-family trash customers get the first four cubic yards each month included — about the size of two large refrigerators. Bigger piles are billed on the next utility bill, and anything past ten yards needs approval by phone.

A Three-Day Window

Collection runs in a three-day window starting the first Monday of the month. Items go out by 6 a.m., no more than three days early, with five feet of clearance on every side.

What It Skips

No contractor or remodel debris, no tires, batteries, hazardous waste or bagged trash. Refrigerators and other Freon appliances need a separate phone appointment.

Apartments Aren’t Covered

The service is for single-family homes, so apartment residents can’t use it — and they can’t use the City’s Free Landfill Days in May and September either.

The suburbs run their own programs. Edmond bills bulk collection by the cubic yard on the utility bill. Norman charges a flat fee for a Saturday bulky pickup. Moore gives each home two free Big Trash pickups a year. Midwest City collects quarterly and won’t take any metal appliance at all. If your pile is small, already at the curb and can wait for its window, use the city. If it’s inside, in an apartment, full of remodel debris or needed gone now, book us.

The Jobs That Fill an OKC Week

Homes here are mostly one story on a slab, so the carry-outs are short. What makes the work heavy is everything else: appliances, storm-damaged contents, acreage outbuildings and apartment stairs.

Most Common Requests

  • Apartment move-outs downtown and in Norman
  • Refrigerators, freezers and AC units
  • Hail and tornado cleanups
  • Remodel and roofing debris
  • Tinker AFB PCS move-outs
  • Barns, sheds and acreage clear-outs
i
Tinker Air Force Base employs more than 26,000 military and civilian workers, the most of any single site in Oklahoma. Its PCS orders keep households moving in and out of Midwest City, Del City and Choctaw.

Sorted Before It’s Dumped

Furniture that still has life goes to donation, refrigerant is recovered from anything that holds it, and metal and electronics go to recyclers.

Sorting costs nothing extra.

Summer Heat

Oklahoma City sees around 70 days a year at 90 degrees or hotter. Book a morning slot in July and August, especially for attic or garage work.

Why the OKC Metro Books JunkRabbit

Price Before Pickup

The number comes from your photo, not from someone walking the pile and deciding what it’s worth.

Apartments Welcome

Downtown lofts, Bricktown walk-ups and Norman student towers are outside the City’s program. They’re a normal job for us.

Fridges and AC Units

Every city in the metro restricts or refuses Freon appliances at the curb. We take them and handle the refrigerant.

Remodel and Storm Debris

Drywall, flooring, shingles and fencing are left behind by the curb programs. We price them by the load.

Insured Local Crews

Vetted, insured haulers from around the metro, with a certificate of insurance for any building that asks.

One Price Metro-Wide

Capitol Hill or Deer Creek, Nichols Hills or Newalla — the catalog price doesn’t change.

Oklahoma City Neighborhoods and Towns We Serve

Oklahoma City Junk Removal FAQs

How much does junk removal cost in Oklahoma City?

Your photo sets a flat price. Common OKC pickups: sofa $126, queen mattress $103, refrigerator $164, mid-size TV $68. Whole garages and houses run from $241 for a quarter truck to $732 for a full one, and the minimum is $100.

Why pay when the City picks up four yards a month?

If you live in a single-family home, the pile is at the curb and it can wait for your window, the City is the cheaper choice. People call us when they’re in an apartment, when the load is still inside, when it includes remodel debris or tires, or when it can’t sit out for days.

Will you take a refrigerator or AC unit?

Yes. A standard fridge is $164 and an outdoor AC condenser $115. The refrigerant is recovered by a certified technician before the metal is recycled.

Do you work in Edmond, Norman and Moore?

Yes, along with Midwest City, Yukon, Mustang, Newcastle, Guthrie and every town in Oklahoma and Cleveland counties, all at the same catalog prices.

Do you handle hail and tornado cleanup?

Yes. We haul limbs, fencing, shingles, soaked carpet and damaged furniture in the same load, which avoids the City’s charge for mixed piles.

Do you haul tires?

Yes. Oklahoma City, Moore and Midwest City all leave tires out of bulk pickup. We charge $22 per tire, or $87 for four.
